The Case Booklet
Terms of service

Terms of service

Plain terms for a small product. Read them – they are short on purpose.

Last updated 1 August 2026

1. Who you are dealing with

The Case Booklet at casestudyinterview.com is operated by The Case Booklet ("we", "us"). Contact: team@casestudyinterview.com.

Payments are processed by Polar Software, Inc., which acts as the merchant of record for every purchase. Polar is the seller of record for your transaction, handles payment processing and applicable sales taxes, and appears on your statement. Polar's own buyer terms apply to the payment itself.

2. What the service is

A web application containing business case studies, method lessons, and tools for working through them by hand or by typing. Paper 01 and all method lessons are free. A one-time payment of $19.99 unlocks Papers 02–14.

3. Your account

Accounts are created with an email address and a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping access to that mailbox secure. Do not share your account; access is for one person.

4. What you may and may not do

Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the case material for your own study and preparation.

You may not: republish, resell, or redistribute the cases or marking schemes; scrape or bulk-download the content; share your account; or use the material to build a competing product. The cases and marking schemes are original works and remain our property.

5. Payment and access

The unlock is a single payment, not a subscription. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. Access does not expire. Prices are in US dollars.

6. Refunds

Fourteen days, no questions asked. See the refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. No guarantee of outcomes

This is practice material. We do not promise that using it will get you an interview, an offer, or any particular result. Any figures used inside the cases are illustrative and written for teaching purposes; they are not investment, financial, legal, or career advice.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change or add to the case material over time. If we ever have to discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and provide a way to export your work.

9. Your content

Your handwriting, typed answers, and self-scores belong to you. We store them to provide the service and do not claim ownership. You can erase all of it at any time from the Billing screen in the app.

10. Ending your access

You can stop using the service at any time and delete your data from within the app. We may suspend access if these terms are breached – in particular for redistributing the material or sharing accounts.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially, we will note it on this page and update the date above. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
